Born Pretty Product Reviews- Water Decals and Stamping Plate

**All products were provided  for an honest review**

I was so excited to try these water decals.  Owls are everywhere these days, on clothing, pillows, jewelry... and now they're on your nails!

How cute are they?!  I love the colors and the variety.

The polishes I used for this mani are Sinful Shine Rendezvous and Essie Find Me An Oasis.  I used striping tape to create the striped design.

The best thing about water decals is that they are so easy to apply.  So even if you have trouble with other kinds of nail art, you can still create an eye-catching design with little effort!  Check out Born Pretty's huge selection of water decals, you won't be disappointed!

I was also lucky enough to review a set of water decals. Water decals are truly the easiest kind of nail art. They go on almost like a temporary tattoo. Just a little water and a tweezer is all you need.

When I saw these online I thought they were peacock feathers. When I received them I realized they were a swirly design. Either way, these water decals are super fun and vibrant.

I chose a matching base color that made these decals pop! Picture Polish Mad Magenta.

The other product I chose to review was this stamping plate.

I love the chevron look, so I really wanted to try a stamping plate that has that pattern, which makes life so much easier. Born Pretty Store stamping plates are great. The image comes out perfect and they are a fraction of the price of some of the fancier plates.

Here I tried the diagonal straight lines. This didn't come out as good as I would have liked. The white polish is MASH white stamping polish, but it didn't do very well. Harumph! The base color I used is Essie Mod Sqaure topped with Milani Gilded Rocks.

The chevron stamp, on the other hand, came out Ah-ma-zing!!! I am obsessed with two-toned stamping. If you can find the right combination of colors, it looks fantastic. I have found, through trail and error, that a lighter base color and a darker stamping color seems to work, and look, best.

Here I used Models Own Sun Hat stamped with Polish Me Silly Aloha Baby. This combo is complete perfection!!!

Right now this plate is SOLD OUT! I can totally see why. Check this link to see when it becomes available again and snag yours.
